As promised in the first ClashCon last month, video game developer SuperCell, the maker of "Clash of Clans," has proudly announced a major update coming early this December. The developer began releasing preview sneak peeks of the new update on Monday before it will be officially put out two or three weeks from now.

As reported in GottaBeMobile, the release date of the new "Clash of Clans" update is scheduled on Dec. 7.

So what can one expect in the update? The newly updated "Clash of Clans" will come with a new level 11 Town Hall. Once you upgrade to this level, the new hero is unlocked, costing around six million Elixir, and should play a healer role.

When unlocking level 11 Town Hall, you are unlocked to a new defensive structure like a giant eagle, as included in the new update.

This is where the sneak peeks come in, with how the eagle defensive structure should work. Fundamentally, with some troops on the battleground, the eagle's eyes will turn yellow and gaze into some troops before the roof opens. A mysterious pot will send a huge pillar of damage straight up to the sky before it comes crashing down on enemy troops. It should dish out some damage in the process.

The update will also include a bigger map size and a so-called "village guard concept," where its details remain undisclosed by the developer. It will also include tweaking shields.

Furthermore, the update will utilize session timers to catch hackers and to operate 24/7. An inclusion of "personal break" was also announced, but remains unclear as of this time. This feature may be utilized to save a village from destruction especially when one is unable to play.
