Walker's dad filed a lawsuit early this week for the wrongful death of his son. Walker's father, who is the executor of the Hollywood actor's estate, states in the court documents that the Porsche Carrera GT did not have certain safety features that may have prevented the death of his son and his friend, Roger Rodas, who was behind the wheel when the accident took place.

This is similar to the wrongful death suit that Walker's daughter Meadow hit the car company with and cites the lack of stability control systems, side door reinforcements, as well as a breakaway fuel line that could all have prevented the car from bursting into flames after it hit three trees.

Investigations into the accident led authorities to declare speeding as the cause, noting that the vehicle was going anywhere from 80 to 90 MPH when it hit the trees. But Walker's father asserts that had the aforementioned safety features been in place, "Paul Walker would be alive today."

Porsche has yet to comment on the latest lawsuit filed by Walker's family. It had previously released a statement addressing Meadow Walker's charges, practically absolving itself from liability in the accident that killed the Hollywood A-lister.

"That the perils, risk and dangers were open and obvious and known to him and that he chose to conduct himself in a manner as to expose himself to such perils, dangers and risks, thus assuming all the risks involved in using the vehicle," the Porsche statement said.
