Game developer Square Enix updated 'Lara Croft Go' game with a new twist of puzzle adventure expansion called 'Shard of Life.'

For those gamers who never played Lara Croft GO before, it is a game of spatial puzzle. The game lets players handle mind-bending situations, avoid mortal injuries from traps, defeat monsters, and collect artefacts. The main character of the game is no other than Lara Croft itself. She is basically a feminine Indiana Jones version.

The game was originally launched in June and would be ugraded before Thanksgiving.

The new expansion game called Shard of Life will be available to download for both iOS and Android platforms. Unfortunately, Square Enix does not say anything about the game ecosystem for Windows Phone users, at least for now.

According to Tech Times, the expansion pack provides 26 new engaging puzzles waiting for action-adventure enthusiasts to wrap their heads around. This quantity of levels might help players enough during dead-times at the grocery store, or to avoid awkward family conversations.

The sixth chapter in the Lara Croft GO game is about a mysterious new place called the Cave of Fire. Lara Croft's task is to find a new obsidian stone, and while exploring the place, she can unveil and collect two additional artifacts.

The first version of Lara Croft GO includes five chapters with a total of 75 puzzles only. But starting Nov. 26, the expansion pack allows gamers to expand their game to 101 puzzles overall, for a special price.

The original price for Lara Croft GO game costs $4.99, but the developer offers a discount at a limited time, letting users get the game for only $2.99, including the complete expansion pack.

At the launch, Square Enix will be adding a special attraction and also a Twitch event where The Shard of Life will be played.
