There's no doubt that Christmas is definitely Mariah Carey's season. Now that the holidays are coming, the pop diva is once again ruling the charts as she tops Billboard's Holiday Charts.

Carey's 1994 classic Merry Christmas takes the No. 1 spot in the Holiday Albums top 10 for the first time after 17 years. The last time the album hit No. 1 on the Holiday charts was on its debut in 1994, when it spent 1 week on the chart.

The annual Holiday 100 comes out every December in Billboard's charts, listing the top Christmas songs using the same method used for the Billboard Hot 100.  Sales of physical albums, airplays and the number of times a song is streamed are considered.

The Holiday 100 Chart is never complete without Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You." It has already led the chart for 16 weeks since 2011.

In the Holiday Digital Songs chart, "All I Want for Christmas" still leads the raise, selling 17,000 copies a whopping 78 percent increase, Nielsen Music reports.

It's also the no. 1 among the holiday songs streamed, with 3.2 million U.S. streams, up 58 percent. It is no. 2 on Holiday Airplay, with 24 million in audience, a 163 percent increase compared to last year's. Brenda Lee's 1958 classic "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" ranked No. 1.

Lee's "Tree" is second overall on the Holiday 100. Nat King Cole's "The Christmas Song (Merry Christmas to You)" lands the third spot, while Bobby Helms' "Jingle Bell Rock" is in at No. 4. Rounding up the top 5 is Bing Crosby's "White Christmas."

This is the first time in 17 years that Carey's Merry Christmas landed the top of the Holiday Albums chart, with dashing 15-6 (8,000 sold, up 136 percent). The album has already sold 5.4 million copies since its 1994 release.
