Music icon Taylor Swift has taken her entire crew on vacation to Australia in order to relax.

According to New York Daily News, the Blank Space singer took her band and crew on vacation before the end her 1989 world tour on December 12.

"For all their hard work this year, they really deserve it. Thank you to Hamilton Island for taking such great care of 125 of the people who work tirelessly to make sure the 1989 World Tour stage gets built, the lights are on, the costumes are made, the guitars are tuned, and the show goes on," Swift said as she posted a group picture on her Instagram account.

Swift apparently rented much of the space at the classy Qualia Resort on Hamilton Island for her crew and band.

According to CNBC News, media groups started to flock to Hamilton Island but were asked to leave.

"Hamilton Island can confirm that representatives of a number of media outlets were asked to return to the mainland after arriving at the Island yesterday. It is within the rights of Hamilton Island management to take this action, and the decision to request that media return was Hamilton Island's alone," the Hamilton management said.

There are speculations that it was Swift who banned the media from the island.

On her Instagram account, Swift posted something that hinted for the Australian media to calm down.

"Aussie press, I love your enthusiasm but my birthday isn't for two weeks and it'll be a quiet one this year. Let's take it down a notch:)," Swift posted.

The 25-year old Shake It Off beauty will be celebrating her 26^th birthday on December 13. It is rumored that she will spend her special day on the private island with boyfriend DJ Calvin Harris. Swift's BFFs Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid are expected to join her for the celebration.
