Ataui Deng, a 22-year-old Sudanese model who was reported missing on Saturday by her live-in boyfriend, Grant Monohon, was found at a New York City hospital on Monday, reports state.

It remains unclear why the model, who lived in New York City's East Village, checked herself in under an assumed name. What she was being treated for also remains a mystery.

Deng, whose legal name is Ataui Deng Hopkins, was reported missing by Monohon four days ago when she failed to show up to professional bookings and appointments.

The model's boyfriend stated that Deng had often gone missing before, but this time, after two days of not hearing from her, Monohon began receiving calls from Deng's bookers asking where she was.

By the third day, he began to worry and reported her missing on Aug. 16, after ten days of not seeing her.

Deng was clubbing at XVI Lounge and The Attic in Hell's Kitchen the night she was last seen.  Monohon told police that she was acting "irregularly" and reportedly wanted to sleep in the park when he left her outside the nightclub after she refused to take his keys.

Police asked for help in locating the 6-foot-1 model who has appeared in spreads in Harper's Bazaar and Teen Vogue.

Friends of the model, including former Top Chef contestant, Roblé Ali, and pop star Rihanna, who collaborated with Deng on a campaign in 2013, took to Instagram to post photos of themselves with her. They also asked anyone who may have seen her to call a missing persons hotline.

An estimated 300 people shared the Instagram notices to help locate Deng which caught the attention of the hospital staff who were treating her.  They notified the police that she checked herself in under an alias but no other details have been released.
