Even though the exact date of release for the 20th season is yet to be disclosed, one thing is for sure, the show is running till at least 2019. The upcoming season might hit the small screens in September next year, which might seem like a long time for some fans.

"South Park" Season 20 is expected to be similar to the last few seasons. It will also include a ten episode order, but it will not be spilt into two parts. Instead of being released in parts, one in the spring and one in the fall, the entire 10 episodes will be released on a weekly basis, without any gap in between them.

Matt and Trey agreed to keep doing the show only because the show runners took the decision of going with an abbreviated season, which will be airing only in the fall. That of course means less work than before, and it also gives the team the entire time of spring to work on other projects. It will also give them time to give a huge bang with the show in just one go.

The ending of season 19th teased that the show will become be politically correct now. It also showed that PC Principal is going to be around in the show. Mr. Mackey and Mr. Garrison along with Ms. Jenner will be running for President in 2016. The rest will be seen in the upcoming teasers of the show.
