Many users are confused between Huawei Mate 8 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, as both of them are power packed with some amazing specs and good hardware.

2015 was a year of absolutely fantastic smartphones. Joining the brigade is the soon to be released Huawei Mate 8. The device will be sporting a metallic uni body - a much trendy design in today's smartphone market.

With a lot of high end specs, its comparison with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is inevitable. In terms of design, the Huawei Mate 8 comes with a sturdy metal uni body. The edges on the device are rounded and the finger print scanner is situated at the back of the device. It will be available in gold, silver, gray and brown colors.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S6 Edge comes with a beautiful curved screen which extends on its either side. One of these curved edges is also customizable. The device sports only a limited amount of metal on its frame. The finger print scanner is situated on its home button and it is available in black, gold, silver, white and pink colors.

Huawei Mate 8 is the bigger device amongst the two. It contains an LCD screen of 6 inches along with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The S6 Edge is equipped with a super AMOLED screen measuring 5.7 inches along with a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.

The Huawei Mate 8 is powered with an octa-core CPU and an MP4 GPU whereas The Galaxy S6 is powered with the Exynos 7420 chipset. There is a microSD card slot present on the Huawei Mate 8, whereas the Galaxy S6 Edge is not equipped with one.

The Huawei Mate 8 is the cheaper device amongst the two, priced at only $580. The Galaxy S6 Edge costs $299 along with a two year contract.
