Huawei Nexus 6P: Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Update with Emoji Power

Around 200 new emojis are made available with the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update for Nexus 6P smartphone users.

The Huawei Nexus 6P is one of the first devices which received the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and it is also one of the firsts to get the Android 6.0.1 update. One of the highlights of the new Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow is the emojis.

Around 200 new emojis are now available with the update and this comes with a fresh layout for Nexus 6P smartphone users. The update also features the double-tap power camera shortcut launcher and the new Google Keyboard. New emojis for sports, food and flags are now available.

Aside from these cool new features, a new security patch and battery management feature are included in the update. It appears that the battery now loses only about four or five percent overnight and the smartphone can be used for a whole day.

There is better Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity also, as well as Google Now on Tap and an SMS and picture bug fix. When the latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow becomes available, Nexus 6P owners should check that there is at least 50% battery and to use a reliable Internet connection to download the update.

The Nexus 6P comes with 5.7" screen with 1440p resolution or 518ppi, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Quad-core 1.55 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A57, 3GB of RAM, Adreno 430 GPU; Snapdragon 810 v2 chipset, 32GB, 64GB, or 128GB of storage, 12.3MP camera with laser autofocus and dual-LED flash; 1.55µm pixels; 8MP selfie camera, 2160p video capture, Cat. 6 LTE (300Mbps); Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac; Bluetooth 4.2; GPS/GLONASS; NFC; USB Type-C port with USB host, Fingerprint reader; Android Pay and 3,450mAh Li-Po battery with fast charging.

The Nexus 6P has a balance of software experience and premium feel, but there is no expandable storage and wireless charging, Optical Image Stabilization for its camera and FM radio.
