In his short stint in Sweden, the big striker has enjoyed success during his six months tenure with the Djugardens under the watch of Coach Mikael Stahre. The Swedish coach currently managed Dalian Yifang and appears to be influential in the big money deal.

Mushekwi stated that he had experienced a couple of tough months but he stayed focused on his job and continued training. Now he believes that the move to join Dalian is right for his career.

"Of all the offers I had, I felt, first and foremost I wanted a new environment. I have been in Europe for two seasons, it has been good, and maybe I can come back. But right now it's best for me to here," he said.

Dalian Yifang football club currently play in the second tier of Chinese Football Association, The China League One. The club is owned by the Dalian Aerbin Group Co. Ltd. and the team is based in Dalian, Liaoning.

28 year-old Mushekwi started out playing for the Central African Pharmaceutical Society United Football Club in his homeland Zimbabwe.

In year 2010 he made the move to South African club Mamelodi Sundowns where he found immediate success when he became the second best goalscorer of the 2010-2011 Premier Soccer League season. Mushekwi is a member of the Zimbabwe national football team.

Mushewki was a darling of the fans at Djurgardens following a successful stint and the club tried without success to negotiate with Sundowns for a permanent deal although they deemed him excess baggage.

Mohamed Bangura who turned out for Swedish giants AIK was also signed by the Chinese club and presented alongside Mushekwi.
