When Will Chinese Viewers Get to See 'Sherlock: The Abominable Bride' Special Episode?

BBC recently aired a special episode of the popular TV series 'Sherlock' for its United Kingdom and United States audiences. Chinese viewers are also hoping that they can get to see the special episode soon.

The special is a standalone episode. It was aired in the UK and the US on Jan. 1st at 9 PM EST. The episode was 90 minutes-long. The one episode special was titled "Sherlock: The Abominable Bride," and took back viewers to the era of the 1890's.

Fans can watch an extra 20 minutes of the episode in the theater. The theatrical version of this special episode will air in the theaters on Jan. 5 and Jan. 6. It will air in more than 500 theaters around the country.

The episode is about Canon Doyle's story which is titled "The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle", and is set in 1892. This is Doyle's 56th short story, and is about the theft of a piece of jewelry, and a plumber getting accused of it.

This episode is also historical in its own way; it will make both the lead actors, Freeman and Cumberbatch, to be present in both the modern day era and the periodic era. The entire episode is set in the Victorian London, making it all the more fascinating.

The special episode will not be in any way associated with the general story line of the show. It will be special in its own regard and is being released only for the excited fans. Fans can expect to see Una Stabss, Amanda Abbington, along with Rupert Graves returning to the show with this episode.
