Lau Sek-ming and Grace Cheung, who also joined the walk, hinted that this may be their last year to represent ATV in the walk. ATV artists had a difficult year in 2015, but Lau Sek-ming expressed his gratitude for the heartfelt support that his fans showed him.

"This will be ATV's last time walking as a free broadcaster," Lau Sek-ming quipped. "But who knows? Maybe we will appear again in a different format."

"We don't know if this will be the last time, but we will continue to do our best," Grade said.

"This is one of the rare opportunities where we get to see our colleagues. We rarely get the chance to do that," she continued.

Grace said that she still has not yet made up her mind as to whether she will extend her ATV contract after it ends before the Lunar Year. She hinted that there would be talks. "I do want to continue filming more projects," she said.

TVB artists Ruco Chan and William Chak, former ATV stars, welcomed their old colleagues in the event. "Still the same! Not much plastic surgery done!" Ruco joked after seeing his old pals.

ATV's financial problems has affected their talents, who have suffered with the station's reversal of fortunes. ATV, Hong Kong's oldest-existing free-to-air Chinese TV station, is struggling with its finances. In fact the company is having a hard-time meeting its financial obligations to its workers and it has already seen many of its staff resign.
