Last week, Robinson confirmed on Instagram that he was leaving United States for China. The former NBA journeyman was even spotted in Hong Kong before flying out to Urumqi, Xinjiang, where he was set to compete with Andrew Goudelock, a former Los Angeles Lakers guard, for a spot on the roster of the Flying Tigers.

Goudelock is averaging 20 points per game with the Xinjiang club in the ongoing 2015-16 season of the CBA league. There were speculations about Goudelock's imminent replacement following news about the arrival of Robinson for a workout.

According to Basketball Buddha, whatever Nate Robinson did was not enough to impress the team as he was officially cut from the tryout.
