Just as many anticipated the formalization of the transfer of AC Milan's Brazilian forward Luiz Adriano to China, the footballer has reportedly backed-out of the deal.

According to Forza, Luiz Adriano could be heading back to the stable of AC Milan less than a week after his departure to the wealthy Chinese outfit Jiangsu Suning FC of the Chinese Super League after negotiations broke down.

The 28-year-old footballer is reported to have recently arrived in China to secure his visa and to undergo the necessary medical test. All indications were pointing at the fact that his $15 million transfer would be completed soon.

However, with the recent developments, the deal may be in jeopardy with the last-minute complications in the transfer transactions, worse the move may not materialize anymore.

Brazilian media outlet GloboEsporte reported on Tuesday evening that the forward had sensationally pulled the plug on the deal and will now return to Italy.

The breakdown comes after the Chinese outfit failed to deliver on certain guarantees initially made to the player and thus the Brazilian has refused to sign a contract, the report stated.

Luiz Adriano is now expected to return back to Italy and resume training with the Rossoneri.

Jiangsu Suning has been very busy in the transfer market and seems to be very prepared to spend lots of money. The wealthy football side currently participates in the Chinese Super League, the highest tier in professional football in China. The club is based in Nanjing, Jiangsu and finished ninth in the 2015 season campaign under former Genoa defender Dan Petrescu.

Jiangsu Suning FC had an offer for Sampdoria forward Eder, but he turned down the deal. Suning is reportedly very keen to get the services of Roma's Ivorian striker Gervinho and Inter Milan Colombian midfielder Fredy Guarin with generous offers.
