Former NBA player Jeremy Pargo knocked down a game-winning three-point shot at the buzzer to lead his Zhejiang Guangsha Lions past the Stephon Marbury-led defending Chinese Basketball Association champions Beijing Ducks, 100-97, at the Hangzhou Gymnasium on Sunday.

With the buzzer-beater, Pargo helped the Lions avenge their 134-104 blowout loss to the Ducks during a 2015 Christmas Day game in Beijing last month, as per Xinhuanet.

The 29-year-old former Philadelphia 76er, who also had stints with the Memphis Grizzlies and Cleveland Cavaliers during his brief, two-season NBA career, hit the game's final five points to lift Zhejiang to the heart-stopping victory.

Pargo finished the match with a game-high 32 points, nine assists, and three steals as the team's starting point guard. Backup center Wang Zheng, who contributed nine points, was also a key player for the Lions even as he only played in the fourth quarter.

Fellow American Eli Holman pulled off a double-double for head coach Li Chunjiang's boys with 25 points and 13 boards to man the middle for Zhejiang.

Marbury and power forward Zhai Xiaochuan led the Ducks with 21 points each while Beijing's other import, American Randolph Morris, had 20 points and nine boards.

Before Pargo's clutch time heroics, though, two-time NBA All-Star and now three-time CBA champion Marbury gave Beijing a two-point lead, 97-95, with a jump shot in the final 19.3 seconds of the game.

Pargo quickly responded with a reverse lay-up to tie the match and the Lions made a key defensive stop with still ample time left in the clock to set up the former Gonzaga standout's buzzer-beating three-pointer.

With the win, Zhejiang overtook Beijing to the sixth spot in the overall league standings with 57 points and a 24-9 win-loss record. Beijing is now at the seventh spot with 54 points and a 21-12 slate.

The win also snapped the Lions' three-game losing slide while it was the Ducks' second loss in its last three matches.
