Real- Life Hero, Chris Pratt Visits Children's Hospital as Star-Lord of 'Guardians of the Galaxy'

Chriss Pratt plays the role of Peter Quill in the hit movie 'Guardians of the Galaxy'. Pratt visited the Los Angeles Children's Hospital and he dressed like his character in the movie putting smiles on the children's faces.

The children came face to face with 'Star-Lord' as they were given a special screening of the movie. Sources say that this cheered up the patients.

The hospital tweeted about Pratt's visit and also posted a picture of him. The photo was captioned "Thanks doe making them smile!" The photo is of Pratt lending a child his signature leather jacket. The child seems pleased for being able to wear the actor's jacket.

Pratt did not only come in his costume and gave a special screening but he also had toys for the kids. Pratt also signed autographs for the kids.

It was reported back in July that Pratt stole his costume from the set as he was being interviewed by Panzer TV. Him appearing as his alter ego at the hospital is the reason why he stole his costume.

He added that if it his character visiting kids who are sick in a hospital would mean something, he would definitely do that. He noted that it would really be awesome if he would be able to make that happen.

Pratt also talked about his own experience as he watched after his son at a hospital before. He told PEOPLE that he spent some time looking after his newly-born son back in 2012. His son was born nine weeks earlier than the due date which made his son be under intensive care for almost a month.

Pratt said that it restored his faith in God. He added that the baby was really a beautiful thing for them to happen and that he was perfect.
