(Photo : Reuters) Xiaomi has denied that it has entered a deal with US Mobile to sell its devices in the United States.

The largest smartphone manufacturer in China, Xiaomi, was recently reported to be working with US Mobile in order to release some of its flagship devices in the United States. The news created some buzz on several online forums and websites until Xiaomi dismissed the news citing that US Mobile is not authorized to sell its devices in the US market.

In a statement acquired by CNet, Xiaomi said, "There are no plans to sell smartphone through any authorized distributors in the US. US Mobile in not authorized to sell Xiaomi products in the US."

US Mobile, a company based in Stamford, Connecticut, runs its network over the bigger T-Mobile network. If the news was true, the company's partnership with Xiaomi would have marked the first time a non-Chinese company will offer the latter's device outside of its homeland.

Xiaomi is a massive brand in China, and in neighboring nations. The company is known for its high-quality yet low priced devices. Some tech analysts even consider Xiaomi's market as even bigger than both Samsung and Apple markets, combined.

The proposed entry of Xiaomi into the American market is interpreted by some market analysts as a response to consumers' ongoing search for reasonably priced yet powerful devices. Premium devices, like the Apple iPhone or Samsung Galaxy S, are simply too costly for some consumers.

Even in the US market, network providers are starting to adopt this market philosophy. Mobile network providers are starting to eliminate annual contracts and are adopting an innovative way of selling their brand without hurting their consumers' pockets.

According to PC Mag, US Mobile posted on its mobile store that it will sell the Xiaomi Redmi 2, Xiaomi Mi 3, Xiaomi Mi 4 and Meizu Note 2. The report added that prices will range from $199 to $219. While the mentioned devices are not exactly high-end devices, their specs and features are still impressive considering their price range.
