National Basketball Association Eastern Conference current No. 3 team Boston Celtics suffered a heart-breaking defeat in the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Tuesday night.

Milwaukee's Khris Middleton visited the free-throw line after being fouled by Avery Bradley with 0.06 second left on the clock. The former Aggies player made the first free shot and intentionally missed the second to secure the Bucks's a 112-111 debatable triumph against the Celtics.

"I'm just trying to make a good defensive play, trying to be aggressive," Bradley said. "The ref made a great call."

The game became a thrilling one after the Celtics made a huge comeback cutting down the 19-point lead built by the Bucks in the final quarter. Boston was able to narrow the gap and equalized the game with 23.1 seconds left to play.

The 2010 NBA draft seventh overall pick Greg Monroe gave back the lead to the Bucks 111-109 with 0.1 second remaining. Boston's Kelly Olynyk drew a foul from Jerryd Bayless and made both free-throws to draw the game with 111 all.

Greg Monroe finished the night leading all scorers with 29 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks. Middleton and Carter-Williams added 20 points and 16 points respectively, while Bayless and Antetokounmpo contributed 14 points apiece.

"It's not easy when you've started your whole career to be asked to do something different," Bucks coach Jason Kidd said of Monroe. "He never complains. He just does his job. I thought he did it at a very high level tonight."

It was the 21st win for the Bucks this season in 53 games played. It will be remembered that Milwaukee was the first team to hand the Golden States Warriors their first season loss and snapped the defending champions' winning streak.

Crowder and Bradley led the team with 18 points each, while Thomas and Olynyk both scored 15 points for the Celtics.
