It is raining threes... Stephen Curry erupted with 46 big points and connected 12 three-pointers; including the last shot he fired from way, way downtown to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder with a 121-118 overtime win at the Chesapeake Energy Arena on Saturday night.

The league's scoring leader and incumbent Most Valuable Player released a three-point shot from about 30 feet from the rim with 0.6 ticks left on the game clock in the overtime period to seal the Golden State Warriors 53rd victory in 58 games played this season.

"Honestly, I don't know exactly where I am, so it's not like I'm calibrating in my head, all right, 38 feet, 37, 36," Curry, who tied the NBA single-game record of three-pointers made, said. "Just literally, you've got a sense of - I've shot the shot plenty of times, you're coming across halfcourt and timing up your dribbles, and you want to shoot before the defense goes in. And that was pretty much my only thought."

Klay Thompson finished the game with 32 points and Draymond Green scored only two points but had 14 assists, six steals and four shot blocks for the Warriors, who won their fifth consecutive games.

The Thunder team was ahead by 12 in the fourth quarter, but the Warriors rallied. Thompson, who went 2 for 9 from beyond the arc area, connected a trey from the left corner to cut the host team's lead to 100-99.

Kevin Durant, who sank seven three-pointers during the game, retaliated with a 3-pointer with 14.5 ticks to go to put the Thunder up 103-99.

Thompson swiftly put in a layup to make it 103-101, then Oklahoma City committed a turnover, and Andre Iguodala was fouled by Durant with 0.7 seconds left. The 2015 NBA Finals MVP made both free shots to tie the score at 103 and force the extra period.

Durant, who fouled out in the first minute of the overtime, led the Thunder with 37 points, while Russell Westbrook finished the evening 26 points and 13 assists.
