Rapper Young Jeezy Arrested on Suspicion of Possessing Assault Weapon after Shooting Incident at Wiz Khalifa's Concert

On Sunday, police arrested six people for the ongoing investigation of the shooting incident at Wiz Khalifa's concert last week. Among those six people arrested, rapper Young Jeezy was taken in for suspicion of possessing assault weapons.

The Mountain View Police Department came rushing after Khalifa's concert at the Shoreline Amphitheatre as they received multiple calls of hearing a gunshot fired. Police has then started inspecting and the raid was part of the said investigation. 36-year-old Young Jeezy whose real name is Jay Jenkins was part of Khalifa's show and was arrested after the last leg of the concert tour held at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Irvine.

The suspects arrested after a search warrant was presented were: Alexa Beason, 52; William Paul Gilmore, 48; Kena Jermaine Marshall, 39; Peter Arthur Maynard, 38 and David Kuniansky-Altman, 31. All were said to be working for the tour and were suspected to have had an assault weapon on them.

Not one of the six has been identified yet as the one who shot the 38-year-old victim who was known as Eric Johnson. Johnson was said to have been an entertainment promoter.

Young Jeezy is still being held behind bars at Orange County with a bail of US$1 million as well as Maynard and Marshall with the same amount. For Gilmore, he is being held in lieu of US$20,000 bail. As for Kuniansky-Altman and Beason, they are still in custody but no figures have been released.

Jeezy, Maynard and Marshall were said to have had a high amount of bail due to their frequent run-ins with the law. The rapper was arrested last January because of a domestic incident towards his teenage son. Back in 2008, the rapper also got a DUI and in 2005, he was charged with carrying a firearm.
