Amy Schumer took to Instagram on Tuesday to slam Glamour magazine for featuring her in their special "Chic At Any Size" issue without informing her or asking permission.

The comedian said the magazine's decision to include her in the special edition issue alongside the likes of Melissa McCarthy, Adele, and plus-size model Ashley Graham without her notice or consent was "not cool."

"I think there's nothing wrong with being plus size. Beautiful healthy women," she captioned a photo of the magazine's bonus issue, before noting that a plus size in America is usually size 16 and above while she belongs to the 6 to 8 size range. "@glamourmag put me in their plus size only issue without asking or letting me know and it doesn't feel right to me."

"Young girls seeing my body type thinking that is plus size? What are your thoughts? Mine are not cool glamour not glamourous," the 34-year-old added.

The 'Trainwreck' star shared another picture of the tabloid's "Bad Celebrity Chins" section. "Pretty pissed I wasn't mentioned," she wrote.

She later posted a video of herself in a bikini, flying a kite and expressing her gratitude to "to the people who didn't tell me how I 'should feel.'" "Bottom line seems to be that these labels are unnecessary and reserved for women," she wrote alongside the post.

The publication issued a statement in the wake of Schumer's post, saying that she was featured in the segment because she is a source of inspiration to other women and it was not intended to offend her.

"First off, we love Amy, and our readers do too - which is why we featured her on the cover of Glamour last year," the magazine said, according to People. "The cover line on this special edition - which is aimed at women size 12 and up - simply says "Women Who Inspire Us," since we believe her passionate and vocal message of body positivity IS inspiring, as is the message of the many other women, of all sizes, featured. The edition did not describe her as plus-size. We are sorry if we offended her in any way."
