The Sichuan-Tibet Highway, a highly elevated road, runs from Chengdu of Sichuan from the east and ends at Lhasa in Tibet on the west.

The road has an estimated length of 2,142 kilometers and is considered one of the most dangerous roads in China.  Disasters such as landslide and avalanches are common on the highway due to its geographical form with ravines and mountain ridges.  Only the most skilled drivers can pass by the Sichuan-Tibet Highway.

The roadtrip commenced on March 18 and one worker driving a Maserati Ghibi was forced off the road.

Hai Shan's Ferrari did not face any problems, until he lost his back wheels two days later. However, he called a tow truck to repair the vehicle.

After negotiating with a car insurance company, Hai Shan was back on the road with his team to complete the trip.

On March 22, the convoy successfully crossing the Nujiang Bridge. The team arrived in Nyingchi County where they admired the blooming peach blossom trees.

Two days later, Hai Shan's Ferrari broke down again and required a replacement of one of the tires.

The convoy finally arrived in Lhasa, but there was a huge price to pay as Hai Shan's Ferrari and the remaining six Maseratis had suffered extensive damages.

As a reward, the five drivers who survived the challenge visited Kekexili, a nature reserve.

Hai Shan intended the activity to be a team-building event among colleagues, but he also wanted to show off his wealth. The businessman revealed that showing off his fortune will entice customers to make future investments with him and prove that his company is prosperous.
