Kurt Cobain's daughter Frances Bean honored her legendary rock musician father through a tribute post on social media to mark his death anniversary. Cobain was the frontman of the legendary rock group Nirvana, which rose to prominence in the 1990s.

Frances Bean Cobain paid honor to her late father in a touching tribute for his 22^nd death anniversary. The visual artist daughter of Cobain and musician Courtney Love shared an Instagram post featuring her father and Alice In Chains frontman Layne Staley with a caption that read, "Rest in peace, you two beautiful souls."

Cobain is best known as the lead singer and guitarist for the rock band Nirvana. The group managed to establish themselves as one of the most influential grunge bands in the Seattle music scene cranking out three studio albums, three live albums and 21 singles throughout their career.

In 1990, Cobain met Love and eventually married her in Hawaii in 1992. Their daughter Frances was born shortly after in August 1992.

The troubled musician was known to have struggled with substance abuse and was in and out of rehabilitation. However, he passed away on April 5, 1994.

Staley also passed away on the same day at the age of 34-years old. Fans also took to social media to remember the late musicians including producer and guitarist Dan Kanter posting, "Remembering #kurtcobain #RIP."

Meanwhile, US Magazine reported that Frances Bean Cobain and her then-estranged mother made a rare appearance together for the Women in Creativity event in London on March 21. The two may have been feuding in the past but it seems that they have finally made amends.

Frances Bean Cobain recently filed for divorce from husband Isaiah Silva, who she secretly wed in 2014. The 23-year old cited irreconcilable differences as the reason behind the split. She indicated that she was willing to provide spousal support as the filing states that all of her assets be awarded to her as separate property.
