La Liga powerhouse Real Madrid CF is reportedly making James Rodriguez available this summer for a transfer fee of £60 million. English Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea FC are said to be among the teams interested in the Colombia international's services.

Mirror reported that Los Blancos has given the 24-year-old midfielder a price tag of £60 million as he is up "for sale this summer", particularly to the Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge residents.

Rodriguez was considered as one of the top young playmakers after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil as he displayed his skills and passion while playing for his home country of Colombia.

Real wasted no chance and signed him to a six-year deal in July of 2014 following the Brazil competitions, buying him from Monaco for an undisclosed fee that was approximated as £71 million.

The move made him, at that time, the fourth most expensive player in history, third most expensive player in Los Vikingos' history, and the most expensive Colombian all-time surpassing Radamel Falcao's £51 million transfer from Atletico Madrid to Monaco in 2013.

However, Rodriguez was not able to meet expectations at the Bernabéu in his two seasons of being there, particularly this current season where he only played 19 domestic games and scored just five goals in the process.

Speculations were out that not only his play had been declining but his attitude as well. There had been rumors that he, Sergio Ramos, and Cristiano Ronaldo have all conspired to sabotage Rafael Benitez which led to the coach's sacking earlier this season.

With that, Real is putting him up for sale and, expectedly, there are many takers because he is still entering his prime age in playing professionally.

According to Caught Offside, apart from the Blues and Red Devils, Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly also interested in the Cúcuta, Colombia native, although Les Parisiens "may be focusing their attention elsewhere in the transfer market this summer", particularly on Rodriguez's Real teammate Ronaldo.
