Italian Serie A club ACF Fiorentina is reportedly demanding the inclusion of teenage striker Marcus Rashford in any bid Manchester United will make for their young and talented Italian winger Federico Bernardeschi in the summer transfer window.

Caught Offside reported that Viola has "requested that Manchester United include Marcus Rashford in any offer for Federico Bernardeschi this summer" as the Red Devils are said to be keen on making a summer swoop on the 22-year-old Italy international.

The Lilies were said to have already turned down a previous £22 million offer from the English Premier League giants as they want to have the 18-year-old Manchester, England native to be part of the said bid, according to the Daily Star.

Rashford, coming out straight from the Red Devils' youth academy, has been a revelation late in the season, scoring three goals in so far six appearances in England's domestic top flight. He has scored six times in 11 games in all competitions for van Gaal this season after the coach activated him to the senior team just in November of last year.

"It's incredible. It's so good to see young lads come in, do well and take their chance. Not in his wildest dreams could he have predicted the last two or three months that he's had," said Red Devils vice-captain Michael Carrick after the team's 2-1 victory over West Ham in the FA Cup quarterfinals replay game on Wednesday.

Rashford scored the opening goal in the said contest at the 54th minute while the second one was netted by Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini.

"He's still got his feet on his ground though. He keeps coming in, he doesn't change, he works hard, he listens, he's willing to learn and I think he's got a great chance of staying at the top for a long time," Carrick said.

"I don't think it's a flash in the plan, in and out. I think he's here to stay and goals like that... we'll welcome more of them!" he added.
