Country singer Zac Brown has apologized to fans after being found in a hotel room in Palm Beach, Florida, where three people, including two strippers, were arrested for drug possession last week.

The Grammy-winning singer was in the hotel room at the Four Seasons hotel last Friday when police received a call about suspicious activity inside a car parked outside the hotel.

When cops arrived at the scene and conducted a search of the car, they found more than 30 bags of cocaine inside the vehicle and arrested the man behind the wheel, who told the cops that he was with two strippers inside the hotel room.

Police raided the hotel room in search of the two women, where they found nine guests, including Brown. Police arrested the strippers for cocaine possession and another man for possession of marijuana.

"My dad always said nothing good ever happens when you stay out late," the Zac Brown Band frontman wrote on Facebook. "It's a lesson I learned the hard way last week, being in the wrong place at the wrong time."

The 37-year-old singer explained that he went to a private party at the hotel and was only there briefly before police officers entered the room and arrested two people who had arrived moments ago.

"I did not know these people and had no idea that there were drugs in their possession. I cooperated fully with the authorities and am not part of any ongoing police investigation. Everyone is responsible for their actions, and I regret using poor judgment and putting myself in that position," Brown continued.

"I am focused on continuing to make great music for my fans, and on representing my family and community well with our philanthropic work," he added. "And next time I'll make sure to remember what my dad taught me."
