While viewers might be clear on who the bad and good guy is on 'The Walking Dead' season 7, the spoilers reveal that Rick and Negan are quite similar.

Showrunner Greg Nicotero teased about 'The Walking Dead' season 7 spoilers to The Hollywood Reporter as he delved further into the dynamics between Rick and Negan.

"Rick and Negan aren't that different," he said. "It's fascinating that everyone talks about Negan as this supervillain and the most despicable villain The Walking Dead has ever known. But from Negan's perspective, Rick is just as culpable."

While Negan has no compunction about killing people even when they are slipping, Rick does not also think twice when killing someone else to protect those he loves.

"So when Negan steps up and says these are the rules: We kill one of you, then we have our conversations. Those are their rules of survival - just like Rick has his rules," he said. "That's a fascinating dynamic to explore, and I know we're going to get deep into that."

In other spoilers, E! News has reported the cliffhanger in the finale of season 6 will be resolved in episode 1 of 'The Walking Dead season 7.

Lauren Cohan told the website that the answer on who will be killed will be addressed "right off the bat."

"Then we'll be exploring avenues and relationships that we haven't yet, but you'll definitely be taken on the roller coaster ride. I mean, the season comes back with a pretty intense, explosive start. That much I know," she promised.

'The Walking Dead' season 7 will air on AMC this fall. There should be plenty of spoilers until then.
