There have been talks that The Expendables 4' cast will not include Sylvester Stallone since a recent interview of Terry Crews where he suggested that the Oscar winner might be too engrossed with 'Creed 2.'

"I have to say, with Sly, I think it looks like he's going to get an Oscar," Crews told Slash Film. "It's a matter of whether he'll be in it. If he got the Golden Globe, he got the Oscar, there's a lot more things that are going to be offered to him, but if Sly is in it, I'm in."

Crews has made it clear that he is only going to be part of 'The Expendables 4' cast only if Stallone will be in it.

"Whatever Sly says I'm doing. He's like my dad. He's literally my dad in the business. If Sly's like, 'I'm out of this thing,' I don't see myself doing it," he said.

But Master Herald nixed those rumors as it claimed that Stallone would still be part of 'The Expendables 4,' which reportedly begins filming in China this fall.

Although there is no official word yet from Stallone or the studio about filming in China, the move seems logical considering that the huge market was mainly responsible for profitable the third installment.

It must be remembered that 'The Expendables 3' had paltry showing in the North American box office, with only about $40 million in earnings. But the movie earned more than $70 million in the Chinese market alone.

While there are rumored changes to the cast, with the reported addition of John Cusack and Hulk Hogan, there is still no release date yet for 'The Expendables 4.'

The release dates for the franchise has been separated by two years, from the time the original premiered in 2010. But if filming will start this fall, it's likely that 'Expendables 4' won't be shown until late 2017 at the very least.
