Lindsay Lohan's rep has turned down recent reports that the actress is in a relationship with an investment banker, Patrick Mahony, who has two daughters.

"It is not true," the rep stated. "She is single."

Rumors have surfaced that Lohan has been living with the older man and helping out in raising his kids in London. A source for In Touch released the following statement: "Lindsay helps the kids take baths. She really pitches in looking after them, and the girls really like her. She's finally in a mature relationship with a really grounded guy."

Such claims have further sparked up the buzz that Lohan is engaged and may be a stepmother soon. Moreover, Mahony has reportedly been taking care of the actress' financial needs, especially with her credit cards being declined recently.

While her rep have claimed such stories to be false, RadarOnline has obtained information that Lohan remains attached to women and prefers to choose a date from the female species.

"She is single, that is true," an insider close to the actress claimed. "But don't expect Lindsay to get into a relationship with a man anytime soon. Lindsay prefers women over men."

The source added, "She was in several relationships with some really high-profile women and she prefers to be with women any day over men."

While Lohan has insisted that she has a straight sexual orientation, she said, "I like being in a relationship with a man, but there's something just different about it with a woman... I have made out with girls and had a relationship with girls."

Regarding Lohan's affairs with Samantha Ronson and other high-profile women, the insider told Radar that the actress likes people depending on her needs.

"Lindsay likes men for sex, she is definitely open about this," the source said. "But when it comes to her romantic side, Lindsay loves women."
