Rumors are out that Miami Heat big man Chris Bosh is not planning to retire just yet and will return to play for the team next season.

The 32-year-old power forward has been fighting off blood clots during the past two years and his stints in the last two seasons have both been prematurely ended by the said condition.

Bosh is reportedly not happy about it as he wanted to come and suit up for the Heat during this postseason but senior team officials have not allowed him to go back playing in the court. With that, he is still joining his teammates during their games but only in the sidelines.

Fansided reported, citing the Miami Herald, that Bosh told his "associates that he has no plans to retire at this time and intends to play next season for the Heat".

The report also mentioned that the two-time NBA champion had "sought opinions from multiple doctors about whether it was safe to come off the blood thinners in order to resume playing this season" but the recommendations were varying, which is why the Heat decided to just shut him down for the rest of the season.

While it is unfortunate that Bosh will not be able to contribute to his team's postseason cause right now, the rumors that he is planning to return next season is said to be enough for Miami fans at the moment.

All these are speculations at the moment, though, as Bosh has never talked to the media ever since his diagnosis during the All-Star break, as per CBS Sports.

He is officially labeled out indefinitely by the Heat right now as he continues to recover, but he allegedly told his teammates that "he still plans on traveling with the team periodically" as a show of support.

Bosh recently joined the Heat during their Game 3 loss to the Charlotte Hornets in street clothes on Miami's bench.
