Chinese Super League 2016: Guangzhou Evergrande vs Shanghai Shenhua, Preview, Prediction & Predicted Lineup

Five straight Chinese Super League champions Guangzhou Evergrande (5-1-0, 15 points) will look to extend their current winning streak in the China top flight to six games as they meet contending team Shanghai Greenland Shenhua FC (2-1-3, 9 points) on April 30th, Saturday at the Tianhe Stadium.

Guangzhou Evergrande are licking its wounds after being eliminated in the ongoing 2016 AFC Champions League tournament, which they are also the defending champions. With head coach Luiz Felipe Scolari's job on the line, the team has been performing excellently in the domestic competitions, leading the league at the moment with Jiangsu Suning only one point behind at second place.

The Southern China Tigers routed Tianjin Teda, 4-0, during their previous CSL match at the Tianjin Olympic Center Stadium last Sunday, as reported by Xinhuanet.

An own goal from Hebei's Turkish defender Ersan Gulum started the scoring at the seventh minute while Greenland import Giovanni Moreno added to the lead three minutes later.

The hosts were able to preserve the lead until full time to bounce back from their previous 0-2 loss to Jiangsu Suning.

The predicted result is a 3-0 romp for Guangzhou Evergrande.
