It seems that the anticipated "Call of Duty" 2016 has a name, and it is said to be called "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare." A listing in PlayStation Store has revealed that the most anticipated Activision first person shooter game will be titled that way. However, although the listing may be legitimate, there are no other details given aside from the game's title.

In relation to the 2016 installment of the "Call of Duty" video game series, it may be safe to say that in a couple of days, Activision would officially announce the game, knowing that this American video game publisher was known to release updates of its latest addition to the "COD" franchise either April or May.

Nevertheless, if May would not be the month for the fans to finally know more about the rumored "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," then June might be the next date to mark. Since a big gaming event will be held in June, which  is called Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016, Activision may finally reveal to the gamers what it has to offer pertaining to its controversial "Call of Duty" 2016.

Meanwhile, The long awaited game has faced controversy when fans launched a Twitter campaign forcing the game's developer to bring back "Call of Duty" to its original roots. The hate and bashing was sparked by a rumored decision of the franchise to venture on a more futuristic aspect, given the fact that the recent installment is quite futuristic.

The avid followers of the game do not want this to happen, and they would want the game to be close to its original roots. As a matter of fact, fans launched hashtags "#MakeCoDGreatAgain" and "#BringBackCoD."
