Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO launched its latest device called the OPPO A37 in China for 1,299 yuan (USD $190).

OPPO A37 is classified as a new budget smartphone with 4G LTE connectivity support and impressive specifications. This mid-level smartphone is currently on sale in network carrier China Telecom.

The OPPO A37 smartphone features a 5-inch IPS display screen with a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels and pixel density of 294ppi. The handheld device is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor that clocked at a speed of 1.5GHz coupled with Mali-T860 GPU. The handset is equipped with 2GB of RAM on board and comes with a 16GB internal memory storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system coupled with the company's very own ColorOS user interface and has dual SIM slots. It is sleek and slim in design since it only measures 143.1 x 71.0 x 7.68mm and weighs 140 grams.

On the camera front, the OPPO A37 smartphone is equipped with an 8-megapixel autofocus camera at the rear shooter with a LED flash support coupled with 5-megapixel front facing camera for selfies and video calls. The connectivity options of the handset include are 4G LTE Cat.4 (up to 150Mbps download speed), WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, 3G, 2G, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB, and NFC. The device is fuelled by a 2550mAh capacity battery and it comes in Gold and Rose Gold colour variants.

OPPO A37 is now available in China for CNY1299, unfortunately the availability of the smartphone for other markets is still unknown.
