The Cleveland Cavaliers will be hosting the fourth-seeded Atlanta Hawks for Game one of their best-of-seven Eastern Conference Semifinals series in the second round of the 2016 NBA Playoffs season at the Quicken Loans Arena on Monday night.

The Cavaliers are coming fresh from a four-game sweep of the eight-seeded Detroit Pistons in the opening round of the postseason. It will be the Cleveland's 10th playoffs second round appearance dating back 1976.

The Hawks finished off their first round assignment by eliminating the young squad of the Boston Celtics with a 4-2 series win. Their Game six victory earned Atlanta their first playoff series triumph over the Celtics since the St. Louis Hawks defeated Boston in the 1958 Finals.

This season, the top-seeded Cavaliers have beaten the Hawks in all of their three regular-season games. Last year, the LeBron James-led Cavaliers entered the NBA Finals and faced the Golden State Warriors after ousting Atlanta with a 4-0 sweep.

However, James is not taking the Hawks lightly and had said that the team's recent domination means nothing once the series begins.

"It don't matter if you can win 100 straight games against somebody," the four-time MVP said. "If you lose four in a row, then you're out of the playoffs."

James, who has been named NBA Player of the Month for 28 times, is currently averaging 22.8 points, 9.0 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.8 steals in 41.3 minutes in the playoffs.

The Hawks' chances, this time, depends entirely on figuring a way to contain James and take chances with the rest of the Cavaliers. Atlanta have noticeably improved their defense and held opponents to an NBA-low 43 percent field goal percentage and 99.2 points per game.
