Chinese smartphone maker Coolpad has officially launched its latest device called the Note 3 Plus in India. The smartphone will be available via Amazon India for the price of INR 8999 (USD $135) and it will come in White and Gold variants.

The smartphone is part of the "Note" flagship series which is well-known for its impressive features and specifications. What makes this device interesting is that it features a full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixel) display instead of the original HD (720 x 1280 pixel) display of its predecessor.

With regards to the overall specifications of the device, the Coolpad Note 3 Plus features a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display screen. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz Octa-core MediaTek 6753 processor paired with 3GB of RAM onboard. The device runs on the Android 5.1 (Lollipop) operating system out of the box.

On the camera front, the Note 3 Plus smartphone sports a massive 13-megapixel main camera with LED flash support and a five-megapixel front camera for selfies. The smartphone comes with dual-SIM (Micro-SIM + Micro-SIM) and fingerprint sensor.

The Note 3 Plus comes with a built-in 16GB internal memory storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. It is powered by a 3000mAh capacity battery inside. The device is slim and sleek in design as it only measures a dimension of 151 x 77 x 9.3mm and weighs slightly more than the Coolpad Note 3 at 168 grams.

Connectivity options on the Coolpad Note 3 Plus include GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, 3G, 4G (with support for Indian LTE band), and FM radio. Sensors on the device include ambient light, proximity, accelerometer, and gyroscope.
