Shijiazhuang is having a mercurial campaign so far in the season after losing two of their first three games then going on two straight drawn matches before splitting their last two fixtures.

Manager Yasen Petrov's side is now at the 10th spot of the league table after seven matchdays, tied on points with Chongqing Lifan and Guangzhou R&F, although they have the lowest goal difference of the three teams.

Ever Bright is coming off a 0-2 defeat to middling team Tianjin Teda FC at the Tianjin Olympic Center Stadium last Sunday, as per Soccerway.

The Tigers' Colombian striker Fredy Montero scored both points for the hosts during the ninth and 45th minutes of the match to come away with the clean sheet victory.

Meanwhile, last season's runner-up squad Shanghai SIPG extended their winning streak to four games after a dominating 3-0 win over newly-promoted side Yanbian Funde at the Shanghai Stadium on April 29th, via Sofa Score.

Former Guangzhou Evergrande striker Elkeson netted a double at the ninth and 45th+1 minutes of the contest while vice-captain Wang Shenchao added another at the 14th to complete the Red Eagles three-goal haul.

Head coach Sven-Göran Eriksson's team is currently on a four-game winning run and at the third spot of the league table after beginning the season with three straight winless performances.

The predicted result is a close 2-1 victory for Shanghai SIPG.
