Spain and Greece improved their record to three wins and no losses in the FIBA World Cup which guarantees that both teams will enter the knockout round.

Spain's latest game was against formerly unbeaten Brazil, 82-63. While both teams had a perfect record coming in to the game and most observers were pegging the game to be a war, it did not take long for Spain to establish itself as the better team.

NBA veteran Pau Gasol blazed the trail for Spain. He scored 26 points and had nine rebounds within the 29 minutes he played. He also contributed three blocks to the team's defense.

Jose Calderon and Rudy Fernandez were also part of the Spanish force, scoring a combination of 33 points, while Marc Gasol and Serge Ibaka scored just what their team needed, with eight and five points respectively.

Critics are beginning to call Pau Gasol the best player in the FIBA World Cup. He currently leads the tournament with 23.7 points per game for only 25 minutes of game time.

In addition he is fifth in blocked shots, third in efficiency, seventh in field goal percentages, and 18th in rebounding.

Chicago Bulls fans watching the tournament should be excited at Pau Gasol being traded to the team for this upcoming season.

Greece on the other hand is also undefeated like Spain. They beat Puerto Rico, 90-79, winning each of their games by double digits.

Puerto Rico had lost their previous game to Senegal, while also losing their top guard, Carlos Arroyo, to an injury.

Reports stated that Arroyo sprained his ankle and would not return to the World Cup.

Team America also joins Spain and Greece in their undefeated streaks, beating Turkey 98-77.
