Samsung, as of today, have not completed all rollouts for its devices, but recent reports suggest that Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus users will soon be getting the software update.

Perhaps, several Samsung enthusiasts have already received the software update, but not all devices. Google's latest software Android N is about to be released anytime soon, but there are still Android devices that have not upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. As reported by Christian Today, the Marshmallow software update is already accessible for Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus users thru a third-party website, wherein users can perform software upgrade manually.

The over-the-air (OTA) update, on the other hand, is being sent in portions and could possibly complete within the whole week. Another way for users to check if the rollout has already been sent to their device is thru Settings>About Device and tap the Software Update option.

The software updates that Samsung has been releasing over the past weeks are not only meant for Samsung S series but for all other devices that have not received the rollout. Although S series such as S5 Mini and S5 are expected to receive the software upgrade soon after the S5 Plus rollouts, Samsung J3 is also likely to receive the Android Marshmallow update in the coming days. Another Samsung platform to receive the software update is Galaxy Note 4, which was also reported to be receiving OTA notifications already.

It appears that Samsung is close to keeping their word in sending all of its rollouts over the past weeks, including Exynos-based units N910C as well as the carrier versions of the devices. The software updates needs roughly 1.3GB of the devices' storage in order to get the complete version.
