"I started getting into eating 20-80, where 80 percent of your diet is fruits and vegetables, and 20 percent is whatever," she shared.

With a balance of diet and exercise, the actress was able to drop 12 lbs. She said, however, that she did not intentionally drop the weight.

Aaron Rodgers' girlfriend claims her goal was just to be fit and healthy.

"My intention was to just get as fit and as healthy as I could be, for myself," the actress revealed. "By the time I was finished [filming], I was 12 pounds less than I started!"

Apart from eating 20-80, she also had to work out every day to prepare for "X-Men: Apocalypse." Olivia Munn also went back to taekwondo, a sport she practiced as she was growing up.

The actress revealed she had to train for seven hours a day, including gaining knowledge on sword skills to play the role of Psylocke. She also had to train for stunts that involved "being hung, pulled and swung by stunt ropes," according to Telegraph.

"It was the first time I realized as an actor how important it is to transform yourself physically to better embody the character," she said.

Meanwhile, Munn shared that despite their busy schedule, she and her quarterback boyfriend Aaron Rodgers try to make things work

"Green Bay [in Wisconsin] has become my home for the football season," she said. "We make it work. He comes to where I am too; the biggest obstacle, really, is what to do with my dog."
