"The View" has found two new co-hosts to replace Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd.

Actress Rosie Perez and former communications director for George W. Bush Nicolle Wallace will be joining the talk show during its new season which begins on September 15.

Perez, a staunch community activist, is also set to join the cast of the Broadway production "Fish in the Dark".

Political commentator Wallace appeared on "The View" last month as a guest co-host.

Comedian Whoopi Goldberg is the only co-host from last season that will be returning to the show. Rosie O'Donnell, on the other hand, is returning to the ABC talk show after seven years since she last sat as a panel member.

The next season promises a lot of changes both onstage and off. MSNBC executive Bill Wolff will be taking over as showrunner in place of the show's original showrunner, Bill Geddie.

Wolff shares that the new season of "The View" will be unlike any other season in the show's history.

"These are powerful and accomplished women from different walks of life who have had amazing personal and professional experiences. Each brings incredible perspective and information to the table. This mix of smart, vibrant and energetic women is unlike anything else on daytime television," Wolff shared.

The show also finds a new home as it relocates to a studio in the ABC Broadcast Center, which was formerly used by news anchor Katie Couric.

"The View" usually had five women on the panel, but during Barbara Walters' final years on the set, she did not always appear on every episode.

Only one last seat has not been decided on, although insiders say that the network wants to fill in the last position with a conservative - much like the show's controversial conservative co-host, Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

The talk show will premiere live on September 15, Monday.
