Ariana Grande has some sad news for fans waiting to see her perform at the Rock in Rio festival in Lisbon, Portugal.

The singer took to social media on Saturday to announce that she was forced to cancel her performance at the music festival due to a throat and sinus infection.

"I'm deeply saddened to tell my babies in Portugal that I have to cancel my performance at Rock in Rio," she wrote in a letter on Instagram. "(I've literally been crying over this for an hour)...I have a throat & sinus infection and my doctors have advised my not to sing for a few days."

The 22-year-old concluded her post by promising her fans that she will make up for the cancellation. "I promise to make it up to you, and give you the best show I'm capable of when I return," Grande said. "Again, I'm so sorry to the babes who were coming to see me. I love you with all my heart."

The Focus singer recently released her new album, Dangerous Woman, and the cancellation comes a week after Grande absolutely nailed a duet performance with Christina Aguilera on The Voice.

Grande also slayed at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, where she performed Dangerous Woman and Into You from her new album.

This isn't the first time Grande has pulled out of a performance due to health concerns. In September 2015, she had to cancel her show in Sacramento due to growing concerns over her health.

"I'm unable to perform for you tonight. I'm just too sick," she wrote at the time. "I never want to disappoint you. Rescheduling the show for Thursday and I really hope I can make it up to you then & I love you so so much."
