The Philadelphia 76ers are set to shop young big men Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel this summer the team reportedly tries to find backcourt help for next season.

ESPN reported that the Sixers "will explore" deals that will include two of their lottery picks in the past three years, Okafor and Noel, the third overall pick last year and the sixth overall selection in 2013 respectively, before the 2016 NBA Draft this June.

The report said that Philadelphia is "increasingly likely to move at least one of them" prior or during the draft as the team is already set to pick first overall, which would add another young player in their already raw roster.

Speculations abound in the past few weeks that the Sixers will be one of the busiest teams this offseason in terms of pursuing free agents and initiating trades as team president and general manager Bryan Colangelo, who just assumed his post in April of this year, is said to be aggressive in turning the team back into a legitimate contender next season.

Head coach Brett Brown is said to be supportive of the new team president and GM and is excited about the impending changes in Philly.

"Think about these types of resources," said Brown. "We have the first pick. We have the 24th and 26th pick. On our current roster, we have Nerlens Noel, Jahlil Okafor, Jerami Grant, (and) Robert Covington. We had a (2014) draft class that effectively redshirted in Joel Embiid and Dario Saric."

"For the first time in my four years, we're going to enter a legitimate approach to free agency," he added.

Meanwhile, between Okafor and Noel, Yahoo Sports' noted that it is the former who is more likely to get traded this summer.

The report also said that Okafor "would be identified as the better player to trade" not only because of his "early-season off-court troubles" but because Noel is the better complement for the forwards of the club, namely Robert Covington, Saric, Embiid, and either one of soon-to-be players Ben Simmons or Brandon Ingram.

Noel is the inferior offensive player, but he is better defensively, which would be what the Sixers will need in the interior.
