It was just last week when the crime drama series, "Blindspot," finished its successful first season. Knowing that "Blindspot" Season 2 has been confirmed, fans are speculating that the next installment might finally reveal the true identity of Jane Doe, played by Jaimie Alexander.

According to TV Line, the creator and executive producer of the series, Martin Gero, revealed that fans may not wait too long for the show to reveal the real identity of Jane, given that the previous season already unveiled that the mysterious woman is not Taylor Shaw. Gero added that fans are going to witness who Jane Doe is in the first episode of "Blindspot" Season 2.

It was also cited that apart from the revelation of Jane's real identity, secrets of other characters in the series will be uncovered. It can be recalled that Zapata, played by Audrey Esparza, Patterson, played by Ashley Johnson, and Reed, played by Rob Brown, managed to find out some information in relation to the strange organization that was suspected to have a connection with Mayfair, played by Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Oscar, played by Francois Arnaud and the mysterious tattooed woman, Jane.

 It was also shown that Zapata, Patterson and Reed opted not to share the information they got because the three were afraid that releasing the details they discovered might lead them to their deaths.

On the other note, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Gero revealed that that they have provided puzzles for the fans to decipher. He said that the first half of the previous season's episode titles can be combined to form an anagram of a poem, while the other half of the season contains further instructions. Fans who can decode the puzzle are going to find out a phone number which will give them the chance to enjoy something great while the series is on hiatus.

As of the moment, there is no official announcement on the specific release date of the second installment of "Blindspot"; however, rumors has it that "Blindspot" Season 2 may return this fall.
