'Suits' Season 6: USA Network Releases First Look of Mike in Prison; 'Popular' Alum Carly Pope Nabs Recurring Role

USA Network has released a sneak peek video of the upcoming sixth season of Suits on June 1, Wednesday. The footage is the first presentation of Mike Ross in prison.

The legal drama has also tapped Carly Pope to guest star on a recurring basis in the new episodes.

Suits Season 6 trailer shows Mike getting his head shaved by a prison guard as he recalls when Harvey and others begged him not to take the deal with the DA. The highlight of the teaser ends when Mike enters the prison hall surrounded by inmates before he enters his cell.

In a press release, the network said that Season Six will pick up from the shocking events in the Season fFve closer. Viewers will find Mike in a dark place as he confronts the harsh realities of living behind bars. Meanwhile, Harvey, Jessica, Louis, Donna, and Rachel try to pick up the pieces and rebuild the firm after being abandoned by their partners. But before they set their sights on a new agenda, they first have to deal with the fallout from Mike's crime.

In other news, Suits has tapped Carly Pope to guest star this season in a recurring role, TV Guide has learned. Pope will play Tara Masser, a cultured and perceptive commercial architect who will assist Louis in dealing with Wall Street traders.

Masser joins other new faces to guest star on Suits including; Stu Buzzini (Melissa & Joey), Malcolm-Jamal Warner (The People v. OJ Simpson), Erik Palladino (ER) and Paul Schulze (Nurse Jackie).

Suits Season 6 will start airing on July 13, Wednesday at 9/8c on USA Network.
