Resurgent Jamaica takes on underdog Venezuela in its opening match of Copa America 2016 at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois on Sunday. Two other teams in Group C - Mexico and Uruguay - also face each other on the same day.

The Caribbean side, which defeated Chile in a friendly match last week, will be hoping to maintain their winning run in Copa America. Team's assistant head coach Miguel Coley is confident that the Reggae Boyz can qualify for Copa America Centenario quarter finals.

"The team is in good preparation mode, good vibes and the players are fit. It is a great competition and it is an honour to be in the competition," Coley said in a recent interview with Jamaica Observer. "Last year we played and gained some experience, and this year it is about going to the next round, because each time we want to do better. So we back our chances of going to the second round and going very well in the competition."
