Comic creator great Stan Lee recently shared during the Salt Lake City Comic Con that his cameo at the summer's biggest flick, "Guardians of the Galaxy", was supposed to be a lot steamier than the one that was shown.

91-year old Lee, who has tiny cameos in all his Marvel creations that have been interpreted into film, was initially supposed to have seen the icon placed inside a display case at The Collector's museum when he flips off Groot after the creature stares at him.

However, because the movie already featured a scene wherein Star-Lord flipped off the Nova Corps, Director James Gunn instead decided to change Lee's cameo role.

In the scene that made the movie, Lee was instead is seen beside a beautiful woman, which was originally shot in a steamy way. Lee admitted that he was happy that Gunn decided to edit the scene and lessen the sauciness.

"They edited the cameo that I did do because in the cameo...and I'm glad they did, because my wife would have been angry if they had kept it in...in the cameo, I'm standing with a beautiful girl, they had me talking to her, and I'm saying the equivalent of why don't you come up to my apartment and I'll show you my etchings. It was that type of thing," Lee narrated.

Lee continued, saying that the woman was supposed to have hesitated, but that he was supposed to have persistently tried to pick her up. Lee was happy that all "the dumb lines" they gave him were cut out.

At the said comic con, Lee was asked if he would recreate the flipping-off scene he originally shot for the movie. However, his assistant said he wasn't allowed to flip off a member of the audience.

Guardians of the Galaxy still has the number one spot in the U box offices, earning another US$10 million over the weekend.
