Following the gator attack on a two-year-old boy, many have been reportedly saying that Disney should take the blame. What could be the major reason for it?

Toddler Lane Graves was fatally dragged by the gigantic reptile on Tuesday, resulting to his death.

According to The Wrap, prior to the horrible incident, the Walt Disney World Resort "was aware of an ongoing problem of guests feeding alligators and had ignored staff requests to put protective fences in place."

As narrated by its source, it was learned that a number of the theme park's employees had already informed the Disney management of their "anxiety" about guests giving food to the gator prior to the boy's attack.

"Disney has known about the problem of guests feeding the alligators well-prior to the opening of the bungalows," an insider told the news outlet. "With the opening of the bungalows, it brought the guests that much closer to wildlife. Or, the wildlife that much closer to the guests."

The cited bungalows are the expensive Bora Bora Bungalows located near the Disney's Grand Floridian Hotel and the Seven Seas Lagoon where the gator attack happened.

In the meantime, animal expert Jeff Corwin shared with Today News on Thursday that what happened was something "rare."

"I think it was an absolute catastrophic, rare event,'' he noted. "You've got to keep in mind that Disney has been open for more than 40 years.

"They've had hundreds of millions of visitors," Corwin said about the gator attack at the Disney theme park. "They've never had this problem before."
