US-based computer and smartphone manufacturer InFocus has announced that its latest Windows 10-based laptop, the InFocus Buddy, is now available on the online electronic retailing website Snapdeal.

The new device will be exclusively available via Snapdeal for the price of 1,469.31 yuan ($223.62).

The InFocus Buddy laptop is another budget-friendly product from InFocus. What makes this laptop interesting is that it features Windows' latest operating system and sports a huge 13.3-inch display screen.

The device is perfect for consumers on tight budgets, especially students.

The InFocus Buddy features an HD screen that supports 1366 x 768 pixels display. It is powered by an Intel Braswell Celeron processor (2 cores, 2 threads, 1.6GHz base frequency, 2.16GHz Burst frequency, 2MB L2 Cache) paired with Intel HD Graphics GPU.

This new release also boasts 2GB of DDR3L RAM and it has built-in 32GB internal memory storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via an additional SSD slot. The computer also bears an SD card reader.

As for the battery, the company claimed that it can last for 8 hours of continued use.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), a microSD slot, two USB 3.0 port, HDMI port, and a webcam in the front panel. The notebook laptop will be available in two colour options - silver and gold.

The notebook is also very convenient to carry, since it only weighs less than 1.6kg and is just 18mm thick.

InFocus comes with a one-year warranty, while Snapdeal also promises a swap warranty to its customers. This means that if the device is found to have any hardware defect, the company will replace it with a new one.
