The OnePlus 3 will be available in gold this July, as seen in the image released by the company. Currently, it has only a graphite color option, available at OnePlus.net and selling for INR 27,999 (around $414.74).

It looks like the company is following the same technique as the Apple iPhone to keep fans interested.

The OnePlus 3 has a non-removable 3000 mAh battery that is only 7.4 mm. It has a 5.5-inch screen with full high-definition resolution and 1080 x 1920 pixels in approximately 401 ppi pixel density.

It also comes with new technology called optic AMOLED, instead of IPS panels.

The device eatures Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 CPU paired with 6 GB of RAM, a 64 GB of internal storage, a smart fingerprint scanner, Dash Charge support, NFC, accelerometer, barometer, a 16-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.

It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 - Oxygen OS.

OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei confirmed on his Twitter account that the smartphone will arrive next month nad that it will cost exactly the same as the graphite version.

There is one difference between the gold variant and the graphite version. The graphite comes with a dim aluminium back plate with a dark front side, whereas the gold features a lighter gold back plate matched with a white front side.

If you want to purchase the frosty front side with white bezels, you will have to wait until next month.
