Did the "Descendants of the Sun" stars Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo just confirm their rumored romance?

For quite a while now, speculations about the real status of their relationship have been making headlines, especially that their followers in the phenomenal hit military drama series have been reportedly expecting for their on-screen romance to translate in real life.

Amid these dating rumors, Asian Times hinted that the South Korean stars' gestures during a meet-and-greet event with fans either confirmed or denied any of them.

While "Descendants of the Sun" actor Song Joong Ki's gestures towards Song Hye Kyo seemed sweet and romantic, what he was saying appeared to be contrary to how he acted.

"I'm so nervous... I don't know why... I wonder why... I've never been this nervous," the actor exclaimed before the actress showed up on stage at the fan meet on Friday in Chengdu.

When the actress was already sitting beside her, he wrapped his arm around her to their fans' excitement.

However, the report disclosed that despite his romantic gesture, what he was telling the fans was a "bummer."

Accordingly, Song Joong Ki called Song Hye Kyo "sonbe-nim" for a number of times. Could this mean that she is only a "senior colleague" for him?

And the "bummer" did not reportedly end there. The "Descendants of the Sun" lead actor even referred his on-screen love interest as "noona" or "older sister."

Apart from these so-called platonic labels, he was vocal as well in describing the actress as "pretty."

Despite the "seemingly cold water" thrown on the dating rumors, Soompi pointed out that fans observed that Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo were comfortable with each other.
